Fabulous Fords at Knotts 2008
Posted 4.20.2008 in Event Coverage
The show season on the West Coast is officially kicked off every year by the Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knott's Berry Farm. Hundreds of Fords travel from all parts of the
country to attend the show, and nearly every Mustang club in California has cars in attendance. With a full four years of production, S197 Mustangs were more abundant than
ever before and made up a huge part of the show. Even compared to last year there were many more Mustangs as well as an increase in the quality of the cars.
Shelby's display at the show included a brand new GT500 Super Snake complete with a Stage III Kenne Bell Supercharger. Team Shelby also had a Terlingua Racing Mustang
on hand.
Saleen showed off their new Dan Gurney Signature Series Mustang. It features a suspension personally tuned by Gurney himself, and a unique body package. Only 300 will
be built, available in either blue, red, or white.
Roush brought a wide range of cars including their new P-51A Mustang as well as this 427R Trak Pak Mustang.
The Shelby section was larger than ever, filled with GT500s, Shelby GTs, and even a few GT-H rental cars. Unlike last year that had mostly stock cars, many of the
Shelby Mustangs showed off custom parts.
