Andrew Caddell Wins Inaugural Mustang Challenge Race at Road Atlanta

Pole sitter Andrew Caddell didn’t lead the first lap of Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup competition, but the Graham, Washington native had an otherwise
perfect weekend, leading the charts in every practice and qualifying session before going on to take a victory at Road Atlanta in the Series’ first race event.
Caddell’s TC Motorsports Ford Mustang FR500S was followed to the line by Rehagan Racing’s Jamie Slone, with Pratt Cole taking the final spot on the podium with his run
to third place in the RP Motorsports Ford Mustang.

Ford Mustang Wins Speed GT Race in Long Beach

The son shined brightly Sunday during the SPEED World Challenge GT Race presented by Applied Computer System at the 34th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Brandon Davis, son of team owner and driver Mike Davis, grabbed the pole position and then the race victory, capturing his second career win and first in this series.
In the ACS Express #10 Ford Mustang Cobra, Brandon Davis charged to the front in the morning qualifying session and held onto the top position in a flawless performance
in his first time driving this historic track.

impressive $135,000.

Custom 2008/1968 Shelby GT500 Sells for $76,000 at Barrett-Jackson

We couldn't help but notice this unique 2008 Shelby GT500, lot #647, that was auctioned off at the 2008 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Classic Car Auction. Tribute Cars, LTD
took a completely stock 2008 Shelby GT500 and replaced the front end, doors, and quarter panels with reproduction '68 Mustang parts. Other touches, such as chrome door
handles and custom taillights add to the '68 look as well. We're not really sure whether the car looks cool or just confused, but a bidder thought it was worth at
least the final bid of $76,000.

News: Roush Unveils 510 Horsepower P-51A Mustang

During World War II, the P-51 Mustang was hailed as a savior of aviation and certainly played a
major part in ending the conflict. This long range fighter escorted Allied bombers over Europe
and Hermann Goering, the head of Germany’s Luftwaffe, summarized the plane’s role by stating,
“The day I saw P-51 Mustangs flying over Berlin, I knew the jig was up.”
Today, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the jig is up for the rest of the Ford Mustang tuners as
Roush Performance unveiled the P-51A Mustang automobile which, at 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft.
of torque, is sure to be held in as high a regard as the airplane has been in the history books
and will help to save the streets from the invasion of the foreign brands.

Roush Performance, America’s leading powertrain engineering group, has added an additional 30 horsepower to their
legendary ROUSHcharger system for the Ford Mustang GT; this increases the output of this supercharger system to a
total of 445 horsepower under the hood.
The additional horsepower comes from changing to a slightly smaller pulley and an enhanced PCM calibration to take
advantage of the higher spin rate. Customers with a previously installed ROUSHcharger can upgrade to this High Boost
Pressure Pulley by ordering part number 402863 which has a suggested retail price of $389.00.
